Bellabox July 2013

This month's theme was Luxe Beauty Travel but if you're expecting a co-relation between the title and the products in the box I'm afraid I didn't find one other than everything was in travel size.
My Bellabox contained 8 items, 6 of which were beauty items and another 2 bonus products.

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream
Apparently this is a cult Japanese product that has been selling for 50 years.  This is a thick glycerine based cream with a similar consistency to Vaseline.  I'll pop this into my handbag for dry skin emergencies.
La Fresh Waterproof Makeup Remover
A little sachet containing one wipe to remove makeup.  Another one to add to my makeup bag I keep in my handbag for emergencies.

 Janesce Softening Refresher Mist
A combination of rosewater and organic rose oil which when sprayed onto the skin works to re-hydrate dry or dehydrated skin.  I'm not usually a fan of these types of products but this actually smells beautiful and does feel really nice on my skin.  There was also a sachet of softening wonder serum in the card which it says is an intensive hydration treatment for the eyes and face.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream
I have wanted to try this product for a long time and even though it's in a sachet which is generally pretty annoying I'm still stoked to receive this.  This is probably the thing I was most excited about in this box.
Clear Scalp & Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
This is another product that I've wanted to try but never got around to buying.  I look forward to trying it out and seeing if it's as good as they say.
Modelco Cheek & Lip Tint
I'm pretty over receiving Modelco products in my beauty boxes and to be honest I haven't found any of their products that I've received to be anything worth raving about.  Will give this a try but I'm not holding my breath.

Bonus Item - Libra Hotties Heat Patch
I really love the concept of this.  It's a heat patch that adheres to your body, thin enough to wear under your clothes and after heating up automatically it stays warm for approximately 5-8 hours. Can't wait to try this next time Aunt Flo comes to visit

Bonus Item - Luxe City Guide - Bali
This is a little booklet that opens up to show you places to go in Bali.  There's no pictures so I didn't spend too long looking at it - I'm a simple creature after all.  I've been to Bali once before and absolutely loved it so I do hope that I get to go again.   I'll keep this little booklet as a 'just in case'.
Overall I'm very happy with this box.  Each beauty product is something I plan on using and the 2 bonus products were a nice touch.  Out of all the subscription boxes Bellabox still provides the best value for money in my opinion at just $15 a month including shipping (Australia only).

  1. Your box was a little different to mine, I wasn't very impressed! Jealous of the shampoo and conditioner duo.

    1. Yeah everyone was so excited about the babyfoot product but I'm glad I didn't get it. It's such a weird product that doesn't even work that well! Not worth the days of peeling in my opinion.

  2. OMG Kayte. I was cursing about that Egyptian Magic sachet, but once I felt how soft my skin was, I went to the bellabox shop and bought the full size! That tiny bit in the sachet was enough to do my hands and legs. I had to wash my hands soon after, but I was so amazed at how soft my legs were, even the next day. This is seriously moisturising stuff. Have you tried it yet?

    1. Oooh really - sounds amazing - definitely going to try it tonight now!!!

  3. The Egyptian Magic is MAGIC, I keep a jar by my bedside and massage it into my hands and cuticles before I go to sleep, wonderful stuff!!
