Empties from 2016 - Skincare & Haircare

Following on from my post last week detailing my Makeup & Bodycare Empties that had been accumulating for months, today brings my Skincare & Haircare trash.  I will follow on the same way as last week and list all the products with a brief thought and will link any relevant posts too.

Let's Go...

Skincare Empties
Skincare Empties

St Ives Even & Bright Scrub - I still miss the original St Ives Scrubs but I always have one of these in the bathroom and use it 2-3 times a week.
Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser - love but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative
Alpha H Liquid Gold - Double Love - am never without this product
Jojoba Oil - love
Sanctuary Spa Ultimate Facial Cleansing Oil - love
Olay Regenerist Micro Scuplting Serum - didn't notice anything spectacular from using this product.  Probably won't repurchase
Loreal Age Perfect Day & Night Creams - Average - quite thick and doesn't sink into the skin easily
A'kin Rosehip Oil - love
Clinique Smart Night Cream - amazing - I'm using the serum at the moment too and both deliver immediate results.
Origins Ginzing Eye Cream - love
Clinique Moisture Surge Cream Sample - love

Hair Care

V05 Give Me Texture - this is like a dry shampoo and volumizer in one - absolutely love
De Lorenzo Nova Fusion Colour Care Shampoo - Cherry Red - amazing amazing amazing.  This is how I keep my red hair so bright between colouring.
Pureology Reviving Red Shampoo & Conditioner Samples - these did absolutely nothing for my hair
Batiste Dry Shampoo - this is one of about 20 bottles that I go through in a year haha
Bumble & Bumble Thickening Hairspray - it's okay but I probably won't repurchase.
Christophe Robin Hair Mask - I got this in my Look Fantastic Advent Calendar and it is one of the most amazing hair masks I've ever tried.  Unfortunately it's like $90 for a full size and I just can't justify it.
Redken All Soft Heavy Cream Mask - I've gone through heaps of these, it's an awesome mask that my dry hair drinks up easily and leaves my hair super soft and not weighed down.

And finally that concludes my massive pile of Empties that I can now thankfully put in the rubbish bin.  As I mentioned in my previous post I'm going to try to be better about these and post more regularly so there's only a few things at a time and I can write a little more about each product.

  1. A terrific empties post. I love reading these kind of posts. I'm in my first alpha H liquid gold bottle - i'm liking it so far. I am wanting to do these kind of posts but I hate hanging onto garbage long enough to write the post.

  2. I agree it is such a pain to hold onto the empty bottles just to write the post. This one was such a big accumulation coz I found an extra bag I've of empties I'd stashed haha. Thanks for your comment - enjoy the Alpha H.

  3. I can relate to the struggle of just not being able to throw away the empty jars! I have piles of them at home. Well done on putting them to good use.
