Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Review & Swatches

Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Review & Swatches
On Tuesday I was blogging about how to get perfectly glowing skin this season using some amazing new skincare but today we get to discuss the real GLOW!  I was so excited when I saw the preview for the Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette that I signed up straight away to be notified when it was released.  Of course within minutes of receiving that email it was in my cart and I was checking out with no regrets.

The Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette comes in three shades; Pink, Gold and Peach and each shade weighs 7g each.  Just for reference the Becca Champagne Pop Pressed Highlighter by itself only weighs approximately 5g so this is incredible value for money here with about 21grams of product for around the same price.

The Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette swatches incredibly well although it's always hard to catch the shimmer quality on camera.  The pigment is amazing and the powders feel incredibly buttery and soft.  They all apply like a dream to the skin but be warned you only need a light hand with these or you'll end up looking like disco ball the first time you use these (which is fine if that's your thing). Each shade has a colour shifting glow to it which I think is just beautiful and lasted well throughout the day with no reapplication needed.

The Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette came well packaged with bubble wrap and a box and the palette itself was just packaged in a clear plastic casing.  The packaging of the actual palette is a thick holographic cardboard and is actually a really thick palette.  Almost the same thickness as the Velvetine box making it a lot bigger than I had thought it would be.  It does not have a mirror and it closes with hidden magnets.

I placed my order on Tuesday 7th March and I received it from the US the following Tuesday so it took 7 days to get here which is pretty standard in my opinion!  The palette retails for $38USD + $10.95USD Shipping Fee which worked out to be around $65AUD.  I also received a free Velvetine in Prairie which is stunning but I'll review that separately later on.

The first shade (Pink) is probably my favourite so far but each colour is truly stunning.  I am so impressed with these highlighters.  I wondered if they were going to be a bit chalky, but honestly there is absolutely no chalkiness at all to these shades. I am completely in love with the Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette and they are by far the best highlighters I currently own.  I finally found something that beats the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette!!

The Limecrime Hi-Lite Opals Palette is certified cruelty free and vegan and is available permanently from www.limecrime.com.

I'd love to hear what you think of these highlighters - feel free to comment down below.  Also don't forget to get yourself in the draw to win a Zoeva Eyeshadow Palette - click here to get all the info!
