Clinique's Winter Skin Saviours

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Vitamin C, Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Cream Moisturiser

I have normal to dry skin but come winter my skin takes a serious turn to the dry side so I'm always looking for skincare that will fight to keep my skin hydrated.  I've loved and used Clinique products for a few years now, particularly the Moisture Surge range which is amazing for anyone with dehydrated or dry skin, so when Clinique offered to send me a couple of products I jumped at the chance and the three products they sent me are all amazing winter skin saviours that I can't wait to share with you.

Clinique Moisture Surge 72-hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator Gel-Cream
This is one of my favourite moisturisers I've ever used. It's a gel-cream consistency so super light-weight, sinks straight into the skin and leaves your skin feeling so soft, bouncy and hydrated.  It's perfect for me to use everyday as a day cream and for night I simply layer an oil underneath for an extra hydration boost while I sleep. There's a few different products in the Moisture Surge range and everything I've tried has been amazing so definitely worth checking out if you have dehydrated or dry skin.  Check out more details on the range here.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
I'm a huge fan of oils and balms to cleanse my skin, especially when I'm wearing makeup.  This solid balm melts into an oil and easily dissolves all your makeup including waterproof mascara.  I simply rub it all around my face and gently on my eyes and then remove with a warm wet face cloth.  You have to try this one for yourself, I promise that the way your skin feels after using this, you'll never look back.  This comes in a 125ml tub and lasts ages! More details can be found here.

Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10%
Vitamin C is an amazing anti-oxidant and one of the most powerful de-aging vitamins.  It works to reverse dullness, uneven tone, lines & wrinkles and sagging.  Vitamin C actually has a very short shelf life and to combat this the Fresh Pressed Daily Booster comes in 7 day vials.  Each daily booster is completely sealed and once you're ready to use it you break the foil seal on top, shake it up and use a couple of drops morning and night for 7 days.  This ensures the Vitamin C doesn't degrade over time and you're getting the full potency when you apply it.  You use this as a serum, so once you've cleansed, apply this, then oil if you use it and then moisturiser on top and it's perfect for giving you a bright glowy complexion.  Alternatively you can just add a couple of drops straight into your moisturiser.  Check out more details here.

We've still got a few months left of colder weather so don't wait until your skin gets dehydrated or dry to make a change.  Incorporate some hydrating skincare into your routine by either changing up your moisturiser, using a gentler cleanser or adding in a good dose of Vitamin C.

Do you change up your skincare according to the season?
